Poetry 3 | Earth's Anthem: An Ode to Our Home Planet | Dr. Aafreen Kotadiya

In a harmony of seasons, Earth's story unfolds,

A mosaic woven with colors vivid and bold.

On this World Earth Day, let our voices rise,

To honor the beauty beneath cerulean skies.

From towering peaks to oceans wide,

Nature's wonders in every stride.

In forests deep and deserts vast,

The heartbeat of Earth, steadfast and fast.

Yet shadows loom, a threat unseen,

Man's footprint stains the vibrant green.

Pollution's veil dims the sun's bright glow,

But hope still flickers, refusing to bow low.

In every dewdrop, in every tree,

Lies the promise of a world set free.

Let us tread softly on this hallowed ground,

Where life's melody is truly found.

With hands united and hearts aligned,

Let's forge a path where all can find,

A future bright, where children play,

In meadows green, beneath skies blue or gray.

Today let’s shine a beacon bright,

Guiding us through the darkest night.

For in our hands, the power lies,

To heal the wounds, to reach the skies.

We will rise now and stand tall,

For Earth's great call unites us all.

In awe and wonder, let us sing,

For the planet, our home, where all life springs.
