Poetry 5 | Your Love's Like... | Dr. Aafreen Kotadiya

Writer's picture: EditorEditor

Your love's like

Blossoms sharing secrets,

Bees dancing in silent rapport,

A spring's tender whisper.

Your love's like

Roots entwining deep inside, below,

Sturdy trunks apart above,

A sensuous secret touch of earth.

Your love's like

Stars' ancient flicker

Softly glowing in dark vastness,

A warmth in the void's hug.

Your love's like

Wet dew on morning grass,

Sun's rays in a soft caress,

A daybreak's first grace.

Your love's like

Mountains standing tall, stoic,

Valleys folding in their embrace,

A stone enduring my rain.

Your love's like

Whispering of the rustling leaves,

Rivers merging with gentle ease,

A moon cradling the seas.
