Poetry 6 | Traveller of Time | Aurora Bluemoon

Tell me, can we go back in time?

I know we all wanted that chime,

A bus, a chair, a coffee perhaps,

To fill the void of our memory lapse.

Ability to alter the pace of history,

Sometimes, to solve a mystery,

To meet our best version left in the past,

Only to know that time travels very fast.

Simply to relive the old memories once again,

Ensure to stay happy and ease future's pain,

Just maybe, to find peace in the present,

Knowing that our past was also pleasant.

Travelling back isn't a one-way road; it depends,

Might you be in a nightmare that never ends,

Memories are stored securely in our neurons,

Past traumas are just a part of higher lessons.
