Our publication is dedicated to showcasing diverse and thought-provoking literature in a variety of genres, including fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and creative non-fiction.
To ensure that your submission meets our standards, please follow the guidelines outlined below:
Submission Format: All submissions must be in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format. Please use Times New Roman or Arial font, size 12, and double-spaced.
Submission Length: We accept short stories, essays, and creative non-fiction pieces up to 2,000 words in length. For poetry submissions, please limit your work to a maximum of 2 poems per submission.
Submission Content: The Literary Hues values originality, diversity, and inclusivity. We are interested in works that explore a range of topics, themes, and experiences. We are open to all genres, including but not limited to literary fiction, speculative fiction, memoir, personal essays, and poetry. Please note that we do not accept academic or scholarly essays.
Multiple Submissions: You may submit up to two works at a time, but please note that each submission must be in a separate document.
Simultaneous Submissions: We accept simultaneous submissions, but please let us know if your work is accepted elsewhere.
Submission Fee: There is no submission fee for The Literary Hues.
Response Time: We strive to respond to all submissions within 1 week. If you have not heard back from us within this time frame, feel free to send a follow-up email.
