This is a subversive book in the best sense of the word. It reminds us, again and again, that as long as we look "out there" for the source of meaning in our lives, we are doomed to wander and wonder. But when we accept that we get to create the adventure and meaning in our lives from the raw material of existence itself, we have a shot at constructing lives worth living.
This adorable little book is really a delight to have. It's not really a book to sit down and read cover to cover but it's more of a road map that shows me potential adventure everywhere in my life. I like to pick it up and spend a few minutes with it every day.
