I stumbled upon this Jolly looking and smiling Gaur Gopal Das, through a YouTube video. I neglected the video as thought of him as yet another religious leaders who would talk about Hindu gods. Then one day my younger sister was all praise for him. She asked me to hear him...
And then I was wowed. I happened to watch all of his videos on YouTube. He is completely different from my initial thoughts.
I loved the book absolutely. The book has stories of his personal journey as a monk, a few anecdotes and quotes and lots of values. In the end of the book he also provided with a worksheet to be used for practice.
The author has spoken about the four basic wheels of life in the book. Chapter by chapter he discusses, step by step, how to change the way you look at others, the world, how to fill it with positive energy, gratitude etc. All this is makes your life meaningful.
This book will not solve problems in your life or instantly make your worries and sorrow go away. However it will definitely teach you how to look at it from a different perspective as well as deal with in a more composed and mature way.
Excellent book. Written in a very good and engrossing style by Gaur Gopal Das. My respects.
