I completed the book in a go. Sudha Murthy narrates some incidents in her life as short stories.
The book focuses on simple human values and ethics which the modern society seems to have forgot. At times you identify yourself with a few characters in the story and sometimes you get inspired from a few others.
A light and thoughtful book. Has everyday anecdotes showing various shades of human nature - to which you can relate to. Sudha Murthy cleverly - via stories - leaves the realisation and decision of Right or wrong to the reader, which definitely makes you think deep. An anytime good read.
The moment you begin reading this book, a movie starts in front of you describing vividly the picturesque landscape of our very own country, its people, the society and our customs. written in simple and crisp narration.
The short stories will leave you wiser. Tales about experiences sprinkled by her simple narration will leave you waiting for more.The author has done nothing extraordinary with the anecdotes. The experiences itself are so strong that you will feel the power of it as you read it.
